Logistics / Freight Forwarding Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking an entry-level Logistics & Freight Forwarding Supervisor to oversee daily shipping operations and support a team of coordinators. This role ensures shipments move efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily freight operations (air, ocean, domestic & international)
Monitor shipments from booking through delivery
Review shipping documents for accuracy (B/L, AWB, invoices, ISF, AES)
Support and guide logistics coordinators; assign daily tasks
Coordinate with carriers, truckers, warehouses, and customs brokers
Resolve shipment delays and customer issues
Ensure compliance with company SOPs and trade regulations

Requirements:

2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
Basic knowledge of air and ocean freight operations
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Excel

Preferred:

Prior lead or team-support experience
Bilingual (Spanish a plus)

Schedule: Full-time | On-site
