Our client, a leader in heavy equipment manufacturing, is seeking a Painter to join their team. As a Painter, you will be part of the Paint Department supporting the production of durable and high-quality industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely and efficiently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Lake Wales, FL

Pay Range: $19 Shift: First Shift

What's the Job?

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, blasting, masking, and applying fillers as needed.
• Mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings using spray guns and other application methods.
• Apply industrial coatings to metal parts and fully assembled heavy equipment.
• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure proper coverage, thickness, and quality standards.
• Maintain paint equipment, booths, and tools in safe working condition.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 2+ years of experience in industrial or automotive painting (heavy equipment experience preferred).
• Knowledge of surface preparation, coating applications, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to use spray painting equipment and related tools.
• Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards and hazardous material handling.
