Exciting Opportunity for Cath Lab Tech - Days + Call!

Job Description:


- Unit Details:
- 3 Cath Lab rooms + 1 Hybrid OR
- Average cases per day: 13-26

- Required Certifications:
- ARRT
- AZRT

- Patient Profiles:
- Common diagnoses: STEMI, NSTEMI, CAD, PAD, PVD, CHF, Heart blocks, Cancer
- Types of cases: Cardiac, peripheral vascular, Interventional Radiology, Pacemaker insertions

- Key Responsibilities:
- Control the C-arm during procedures
- Assist MDs while scrubbing and preparing patients
- Operate within your scope of practice


- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year with Cardiac cases
- IR experience preferred


- EMR/Equipment:
- Merge and Cerner for EMR and hemodynamic monitoring
- X-ray machines: Philips

- Call Details:
- 24/7 coverage with call hours typically M-F 17:30 - 7:00
- Weeknight call: usually 1 night per week
- Weekend call: usually 1 weekend per 4-week period
- Holiday call: distributed equally among staff
- Call response time: 30 minutes

- Managerial Support:
- Manager, director, and charge RN available 6:30 am - 17:00

- Shifts & Scheduling:
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
- General orientation: 1-2 days, plus 2 days of unit-specific orientation

- Cancellation Policy:
- Up to 4 shifts can be canceled per 13-week assignment
- 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks

- Charting System:
- Cerner

- License Considerations:
- License required for submission

- Care Setting:
- Acute
- Trauma Level: All levels
