Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to establish individualized treatment plans, ensuring adherence to the physician's directives.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions as discussed in treatment plans, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to address specific patient needs.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers about injury prevention and self-management strategies, fostering independence and understanding.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR), adhering to compliance regulations and best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and roundtable discussions to enhance the effectiveness of treatment methodologies and patient management approaches.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment, ensuring proper use and care of equipment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Convivial, you will treat a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients with developmental challenges, neurologic disorders, and athletes requiring sports rehabilitation. Your practice will integrate your clinical expertise with compassionate care, aiming to maximize each patient's potential and encourage their active participation in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
• Certification in CPR with a valid renewal.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer applications for documentation and communication.
• Ability to empathetically connect with patients, fostering a therapeutic relationship that motivates them to achieve their personal goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized areas such as sports medicine, pediatrics, or neurologic rehabilitation is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
