Academic Physician - MD/DO - Orthopedic Surgeon

Job Description

SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking faculty with outstanding clinical abilities who share a commitment to high-quality medical care, education, and professional development for an appointment at the assistant professor level in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

As a faculty member of the department, opportunities exist for clinical service and teaching, with administrative and research opportunities based on interest.

Position Details:

• 50% Inpatient, 50% Outpatient
• Full spectrum of Adult Orthopedic injuries and Pathology
• Supervise residents in outpatient and inpatient (OR) settings
• The provider will see patients in an outpatient setting
  • Ordering diagnostic procedures, x-rays, etc.
  • Review findings and present them to the patient
• The Ortho group consists of 15 tenured surgeons
  • Consisting of specialists: Total Joint, Foot & Ankle
• Practice will be based at St. Louis University Hospital
  • with the opportunity to see patients in an outpatient clinic in the St. Louis metro area.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
• Qualify for medical licensure in the State of Missouri
