Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

Medical Oncology locums coverage in Indiana with a consistent 4 day clinic schedule and consult support from an established APP and physician team, plus telephone only call coverage when assigned.

Highlights

• 4 days per week, Mondays off.
• Open to IMLC Physicians
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient Medical Oncology, adult patients age 18+.

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient Medical Oncology, adult patients age 18+.
• Case mix is approximately 80% clinic, 20% hospital.
• Typical volume, clinic 18 to 20 patients per day; hospital 10 to 12 patients per day.
• Support includes 3 physicians, 4 NPs, and hospitalist team support for admissions with consulting oncologists.

Schedule

• Tuesday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
• 4 days per week, Mondays off.
• Call rotation includes serving as primary and backup to the APPs, call is telephone availability when assigned; schedule is TBD.
• Scheduled call window listed as Friday 7pm through Monday 7am.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Medical Oncology, Board Certified or Board Eligible, certification within 5 years of residency.
• Indiana license required, or open to IMLC Physicians; may wait for license with an active IMLC LOQ only.
• BLS required; ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges.
