Role Description The Senior Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL. This role oversees the day-to-day accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate journal entries. The Senior Accounting Manager will monitor and reconcile fixed assets, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and provide financial analysis to leadership to support decision-making. Responsibilities include maintaining internal controls, coordinating with external auditors, supervising accounting staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and support business initiatives.
Qualifications

Strong proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing Financial Statements .
Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data and supporting business decisions.
Expertise in Journal Entries (Accounting) and managing the general ledger.
Solid foundation in Finance , including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Experience managing and reconciling Fixed Assets , including depreciation and asset tracking.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Several years of progressive accounting experience, including prior leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
Thorough knowledge of GAAP and internal control best practices.
Proficiency with accounting software and Excel; experience in construction or real estate is a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment.
