Occupational Therapist (OT) – Long-Term Substitute
Franklin, WI School District
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our special education team on a long-term substitute basis, covering a maternity leave from January 21st through April 15th. This is a full-time position serving students in Pre-K through 5th grade.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and ongoing service needs
Provide direct and/or consultative OT services in accordance with student IEPs
Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student access to the educational environment
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district timelines
Participate in IEP meetings as needed
Qualifications:
Current Wisconsin OT license (or eligibility)
DPI license as a School-Based Occupational Therapist (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working with Pre-K–5 populations preferred
Strong evaluation and assessment skills
Position Details:
