Our facility is located in Decatur, Indiana, where we manufacture fiberglass parts for Fleetwood, Honda, and Daimler. Goldshield also manufactures fiberglass for school buses, emergency vehicles and heavy-duty trucks. A day in the life of a Roller at Goldshield: Removing air from fiberglass laminate using a roller to support part strength and quality. Rolling at assigned chop stations while meeting production and quality expectations. Helping ensure fiberglass, resin, and catalyst mixtures are properly worked into the part. Following safety rules and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Supporting teammates and production flow across assigned areas. Required education, skills, and experience to be successful: Preferred 1-year experience in fiberglass, rolling, lamination, production, or manufacturing. Preferred high school diploma or GED. Ability to complete the required training period and Goldshield training expectations. Ability to roll at assigned chop stations while meeting acceptable quality standards. Ability to maintain attendance expectations and follow directions. Successful completion of the drug and background screening.
