Organization Overview: Mommy Haven is a supportive, healing-centered organization dedicated to helping mothers rebuild their lives and reconnect with their children after experiencing challenges such as addiction, incarceration, and housing instability. We believe in a trauma-informed, family-centered approach that empowers mothers to achieve stability, independence, and long-term success alongside their children. Position Purpose: The Social Media Content Creator plays a vital role in amplifying Mommy Haven's mission and programs through authentic, engaging digital storytelling. This volunteer helps build community awareness, connect families to resources, and inspire support for mothers on their healing journey. Key Responsibilities: Create compelling posts for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn that reflect Mommy Haven's heartfelt brand voice Design flyers, reels, stories, and graphics to promote programs like Sister Circle Share fundraiser updates, volunteer opportunities, and community events across social platforms Help grow awareness and engagement around Mommy Haven's mission and impact Schedule and organize social media content on a weekly basis Maintain a consistent, compassionate, and trauma-informed tone in all communications Monitor and respond to comments and messages (as appropriate and in coordination with staff) Mommy Haven
