Human Resources Coordinator

In person for this role first 3 months then hybrid - 2 days at home, 3 in office Position Overview RC Maintenance Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Coordinator to support the day-to- day operations of the Human Resources department. This role will play a key part in employee lifecycle management, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, employee relations support, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys providing exceptional service to employees across multiple locations. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience Strong understanding of HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, and benefits administration Experience supporting leave administration, including FMLA, workers' compensation, and other employee leave programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience maintaining confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion Key Responsibilities Assist with employee benefits administration, including 401(k) plans and employee health and welfare programs Support leave administration processes, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and workers' compensation Coordinate recruiting efforts, candidate tracking, interviewing, and onboarding activities Respond to employee HR-related questions and provide excellent customer service Conduct background checks and employment verification processes Assist with employee separations and performance review administration Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracySchedule interviews, meetings, and HR-related events Prepare correspondence, employee files, and HR documentation Perform administrative and clerical duties, including filing, scanning, mailing, and record maintenance Nice to Have Skills and Experience Experience utilizing HRIS platforms and HR technology systems Previous experience working within the construction, maintenance, facilities, or field services industry Knowledge of California and Texas employment laws Experience supporting a multi-location workforce HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) Experience with benefits enrollment and compliance reporting processes Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus About RC Maintenance Holdings RC Maintenance Holdings is a leading provider of facility maintenance solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence across commercial and industrial environments.
