Registered Nurse - Anderson Surgery Center Part Time Day Shift - TriHealth Anderson Surgery Center Location: 7777 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45255 Work Schedule Part Time Days (20 hrs/week) Rotating days, Monday - Friday Hours will be either 6am - 2:30pm or 7:30am - 4pm No weekends, holidays or call This ambulatory surgery center Registered Nurse role offers a weekday-only schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on‑call requirements. Shift times vary based on assignment, typically 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:30am-4:00pm. The nurse works across multiple areas, including Pre-Op, PACU, and Presurgical Services, conducting pre‑admission phone calls and providing care for both pediatric and adult patients undergoing ENT, GYN, plastic, orthopedic, and pain procedures. This is a cross‑trained position requiring flexibility to both prepare patients for surgery and recover them post‑procedure. Please view our benefits page: Job Requirements Associate's Degree - Nursing (Required) New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required) Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required Surgery Center/Pre-Op/PACU strongly preferred Registered Nurse licensure (Required) ACLS PALS is required Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle Job Responsibilities Conducts initial and ongoing patient/family assessments and documents per policy. Develops, implements, and updates individualized plans of care based on patient needs and standards of care. Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to establish goals and discharge plans. Provides safe, ethical, and patient‑centered care respecting diversity, dignity, and autonomy. Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition and emergency situations. Administers medications and treatments safely and monitors patient responses. Accurately executes and communicates physician orders and clinical information. Evaluates patient outcomes and revises care plans as needed. Performs technical skills and operates equipment according to policy and standards.
