Industrial HVAC Project Manager

Currently seeking an Industrial HVAC/Refrigeration Regional Project Manager with 5+ years experience for a customer focused client in Fort Wayne, IN to actively manage projects to complete work for customers on schedule and with excellence.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure workforce completes work within OSHA requirements and customer site specific requirements to maintain the safety of everyoneManage service cost and profitability for the contracts in progress and miscellaneous costsAccount for own time expenses and ensure they are properly assigned to the projectsProcess any invoices in a timely manner and communicate JIP updates to accounting monthlyContribute to the bottom-line profits of the company by “doing what’s right” for the customers, vendors, and employees in every aspectProject Planning:Develop project task plans, being aware of prerequisite tasks, and include resources and lead times to accomplish customer targeted completion datesProject job costs and assess profits for the projects assigned vs company target profitabilityDevelop resource plan and issue contracts and purchase orders to vendor/suppliers and subs with help of othersCommunicate requirements to company superintendent of labor to give lead time to plan and source the job efficientlyBusiness Development/Selling:Meet with existing customers to stay abreast of requirements that could lead to future work with companyConnect with vendors and suppliers as necessary to keep current about industry developments and innovation in equipment and processIncorporate customer needs / feedback into detailed solution designDevelop the preliminary solution design to satisfy customer requirements with assistance from senior project engineerDevelop high level budgets associated with design options for review by othersDevelop detailed cost estimates, including equipment, material, labor, and sub-contractorsUse appropriate estimating tools to complete hard quotes, including alternate value-added options if appropriateMeet and present solutionsAsk for the opportunity to do the jobLeadership:Teach and mentor less experienced employees for growth and implementation of best practicesEnhance project management and project estimating tools, policies, and proceduresAdopt and further develop our core values and teamwork centered culture
