Industrial Systems Project Manager

Our client, a growing company in the industrial refrigeration and mechanical systems industry, is looking for an Industrial Systems Project Manager to join their team in Fort Wayne, IN. This role will involve overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, customer satisfaction, and profitability.ResponsibilitiesManage industrial refrigeration and mechanical projects from start to finishCreate project plans, oversee timelines, and coordinate labor, materials, vendors, and subcontractorsMonitor job costs, track margins, and ensure project profitabilityEnsure compliance with OSHA standards and customer safety requirementsCollaborate with customers to understand needs, propose solutions, and identify future opportunitiesPrepare estimates, budgets, and quotes for equipment, materials, labor, and subcontracted workPresent solutions clearly and help secure new projectsMentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement in project execution and estimating practicesQualificationsBackground in engineering, construction management, or related technical fieldExperience managing industrial HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, or construction projectsFamiliarity with project planning tools like Gantt charts and CPMAbility to manage project costs, profitability, and schedules while prioritizing customer serviceKnowledge of industrial refrigeration or mechanical systems, ammonia experience preferredUnderstanding of OSHA, EPA, and safe work practices in industrial environmentsExperience with estimating, quoting, and business developmentPMP certification is a plusFamiliarity with Procore, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Bluebeam, or Raken is beneficialAdditional InformationRegional travel required with occasional overnight staysCompany vehicle providedPotential for bonuses, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and company-paid health coverageNo visa sponsorship available
