Admissions Representative, Batram Inpatient Hospital, Full-time

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Distributes pre-admission forms to each department.
• Signs in patient upon arrival.
• Obtains copies of patient's insurance information.
• Verifies all patient data and corrects as needed.
• Calls secondary insurance companies for pre-certifications.
• Creates and files business office/admission charts.
• Responsible for the production and distribution of patient education manuals.
• Verifies compliance with regulatory standards.
• May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school graduate with Business curriculum.
• Two to three years secretarial/office experience.
• Must be a team player and have personality skills.

Location: Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital, 6400 Brooks Bartram Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32258

Hours: 12PM - 8PM, at 40 hours per week

Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
