Food Truck Operator

Melvin’s Barbecue is a family-owned, iconic Lowcountry BBQ brand, and we’re looking for a dependable and friendlyFood Truck Operatorto join our team! This position is as-needed for food truck events, but can transition into (or be paired with) full-time work at our restaurant, with full benefits and steady hours available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Operate and manage the Melvin’s BBQ food truck at events, festivals, and catering locations Set up and break down the truck before and after events Prepare and serve menu items to guests with exceptional hospitality Handle cash/card transactions accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment Drive the food truck to and from event locations (valid driver’s license required) Represent our family brand with professionalism and a positive attitude Requirements Previous experience in food service, food trucks, and customer-facing roles necessary Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving recordi> Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Reliability and strong communication skills Must be available for nights/weekends as needed, based on event schedule Benefits (if transitioning to full-time restaurant position) Health insurance Paid time off Discounted employee meals Growth opportunities within a long-standing family business #J-18808-Ljbffr Melvin's Inc.
