Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA certification required
• Experience working in school settings at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levels preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices for school-based therapy
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, educators, and families
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Organized, flexible, and able to adapt to students’ diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities to determine needs
• Write and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with educational guidelines
• Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, tailored to each student’s goals
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes, making data-driven recommendations
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and parents to support student achievement
• Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development
• Educate staff and families on communication disorders and effective support techniques
