General Notary Publics (NP) may handle private individual's, private and commercial companies, and provide notary services for federal, city and state awarded government contracts.Notary Duties & ResponsibilitiesBeing present at the time of document execution (this may include traveling to clients' homes and businesses, performing notarizations in our office locations, or remotely (RON)Verifying the identification of signers, witnesses, participantsDocument execution (legally binding signatures)Affirming the state of mind of all signersIdentifying fraud or coercionAdministering oathsHandling affidavits, contracts, loan documents, court hearings, marriage certificates, and other legal documentsBearing witness to items within a safe deposit box or the equivalentMaintaining a notary journal as required by your commissioned stateScheduling notary appointmentsAttend SMN trainings and required eventsAccept/decline new job orders and follow the rules of SMN and its clientsRequirementsCurrent Arkansas Notary commission requiredNNA Certifications requiredMeets all the states requirements to be a commissioned notaryHigh school diploma or equivalentFamiliarity with legal documents and loan documentsFlexibility, professionalism is a mustGreat verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work independently and on a teamRON Certified notaries are a plusAbility to speak and read in other languages is desiredSybil Mobile Notary is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity.
