The WAS team assesses publicly accessible web applications to identify vulnerabilities, weak configurations, and security risks and provides stakeholders with actionable findings and remediation guidance.Job Duties: Support stakeholder onboarding, web application enrollment, scan operations, and service queue managementAnalyze scan results, troubleshoot scanning issues, and communicate findings and remediation guidance to stakeholdersMaintain process documentation and support operational, metric, and status reportingIdentify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and service enhancementsCoordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to resolve operational issuesServe as backup to the contractor lead and mentor junior analystsStrong understanding of cybersecurity, networking, web technologies, and application security conceptsExperience with web application scanning, vulnerability assessment, or application security toolsAbility to analyze technical findings and communicate results to technical and non-technical audiencesStrong technical writing, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExperience using ServiceNow, Jira, or similar workflow management platformsFamiliarity with OWASP Top 10 and common web application vulnerabilitiesBasic Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience with web application scanning, vulnerability management, application security, or related cybersecurity toolsMinimum 5 years of experience analyzing security tool output and communicating technical findingsMinimum 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Suitability DeterminationBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience with Qualys WAS/TASExperience supporting Federal cybersecurity programsExperience with ServiceNow, Power Automate, or process automation initiativesFamiliarity with APIs, authentication methods, cloud-hosted applications, and web application architecturesRelevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, GWEB, or GWAPTNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $78,948 - $137,063. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation.
