This contract position invites certified general education teachers to engage with a diverse classroom of 19 enthusiastic learners, empowering them during a crucial stage in their academic journey.

The teaching day runs from 8:35 AM to 3:35 PM, with a half-hour break for lunch. The classroom remains thoughtfully sized, ensuring personalized instruction is possible and relationships flourish.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate
• Previous experience in general education settings preferred
• Strong classroom management strategies and excellent communication skills
• Genuine commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt lessons for diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction to 2nd grade learners
