Requirements

• Required certification: Tele
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum with 1 year direct MedSurg experience required 2. Cases: Stroke patients, neurosurgery patients, epilepsy, traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, SAH, ICH, brain tumors, seizures 3. Certifications: BCLS, NIH, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred but not required; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights, 36h or 48h, every other weekend required, floating required to med surg areas and may include COVID care units 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays), must work 2 of 3 major holidays, no RTO during first week, all RTO must be pre-approved, cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate; will not accept first-time travelers (must have at least 2 successful contracts) 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: Must have at least 2 successful contracts before applying; first-time travelers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy 15.
