About the Role
As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our patients’ oral health and overall well-being. You’ll provide clinical services, patient education, and collaborate with our dental team to create a positive experience at every visit.
We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled in hygiene care but also passionate about making patients feel safe, informed, and supported.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing with a focus on patient comfort and care
- Conduct oral health assessments and support the dentist in diagnostic procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols
- Use dental software (e.g., Denticon ) to manage patient charts and treatment notes
- Work collaboratively with dental assistants and dentists to ensure smooth, efficient patient care
✅ What We’re Looking For
- NY State Dental Hygienist license (required)
- Prior experience in a dental office (preferred)
- Familiarity with general dentistry procedures and terminology
- Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
- Experience with Denticon or similar dental software is a plus
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a patient-first mindset
