LOADER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a  Loader for a company based in Olive Branch, MS.  In  this role,  The Loader is responsible for safely and efficiently loading furniture and other large or heavy merchandise onto trailers for customer shipment. This is a  physically demanding warehouse position that requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling of  bulky furniture products . The Loader ensures orders are loaded accurately, securely, and in a manner that protects products from damage during transportation.

Pay Rate
$15.75 per hour 

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3 00 pm. (OT Required)

Loader  Duties and Responsibilities

• Load furniture, cartons, and other merchandise onto outbound trailers according to shipping and loading requirements. 
• Perform  frequent heavy lifting and physical material handling , including large, bulky, and awkwardly shaped furniture items. 
• Move products from staging areas to assigned trailers and loading docks. 
• Verify products and quantities before loading to help ensure order accuracy. 
• Properly stack, position, and secure merchandise inside trailers to maximize space and prevent product damage. 
• Handle furniture carefully to prevent scratches, dents, tears, breakage, and other damage. 
• Assist with staging, sorting, palletizing, and organizing outbound orders. 
• Use pallet jacks and other warehouse material-handling equipment as required. 
• Work closely with pickers, checkers, order-prep associates, shipping personnel, and other warehouse team members. 
• Maintain productivity while meeting company safety and accuracy standards. 
• Keep docks, staging areas, aisles, and work areas clean and free of safety hazards. 
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and proper lifting techniques. 
• Cross-train and assist in other warehouse areas based on workload and operational needs. 
• Work overtime or extended hours when required to meet shipping demands.

Loader  Qualifications  and Requirements

• Previous warehouse, loading/unloading, shipping, furniture, or material-handling experience preferred. 
• Ability to perform  repetitive heavy lifting throughout the shift . 
• Comfortable handling  large and bulky furniture products . 
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. 
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
• Forklift, electric pallet jack, or other material-handling equipment experience is a plus. 

Ideal Experience: Candidates with previous experience as a  Loader/Unloader, Furniture Handler, Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, Shipping Associate, Order Picker, or Forklift Operator would be a strong fit.
