DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer Designing, developing, and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform on AWS. Performing code reviews and mentoring fellow developers. Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure to support our applications and other systems as needed using AWS with Terraform. Performing code reviews and mentoring for fellow developers. Helping plan and scope technical requirements and implementation details. Participating in an on-call rotation. Participating in an Agile/SCRUM development methodology. Qualifications: An ideal team member will be a DevOps engineer that has experience with many of these technologies and practices: 4+ years of administering or developing infrastructure on AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, VPC, IAM, Cognito, and security groups. Azure AD experience is a plus. 2+ years of Terraform experience, or experience with other IaC tools such as CloudFormation. Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts including IP protocols, CIDR, DNS, TCP, and UDP. Logging along with archiving and forwarding to security and analysis tools. Splunk experience is a plus. Experience instrumenting, monitoring, and debugging production systems and applications. Ability to identify opportunities for automation. Experience owning a project through the entire development lifecycle (inception, design, implementation, and maintenance). Proficiency with git. A security-conscious mindset and willingness to work in a highly sensitive and regulated environment. Ability to create a CI/CD pipeline with Github Actions or similar tools. Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell, bash, node.js. Ability to troubleshoot problems and issues. We are motivated and hardworking. Said differently, we’re hungry. Required Skills: AWS, AWS lambda, Terraform, Splunk/New Relic, experience with scripting (this team uses Node but open to any type), Github, experience in networking and security. They will be helping setup for a launch of a new application as they will be supporting building out a bank. They also have 2 people on this team, will need a strong communicator, and a self starter. It will be a two round interview process. This role just opened yesterday and there is only one other supplier supporting it. We have follow up with the manager on Friday 05/20.
