- Extensive background in Unix/Linux systems administration, scripting or large scale software development.
- Strong knowledge of Nginx/Apache web server and Tomcat container configuration
- Deep knowledge of automated deployment tools such as Chef or Puppet
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
- Work closely with development teams (DevOps)
- Strong scripting experience (BASH/Perl/Ruby)
- Knowledge of large-scale web delivery platforms
- Experience with AWS EC2/S3 service provisioning
- Experience with NoSQL DBs (MongoDB, CouchDB)
- Knowledge of Lucene/Solr, Elasticsearch
- Curiosity for understanding and learning complex systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve product, software and performance issues independently
- Complete understanding of toolsets necessary to debug, identify and resolve site issues
- Ability to see opportunities for improvement, take ownership and closely work with development team to drive product improvement
- Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision
- Act as mentor to junior members of the team E-Pro
