We are seeking a Switcher Coordinator to support safe and efficient trailer movement within a manufacturing facility and designated yard areas. The ideal candidate will have experience operating yard trucks, switchers, hostlers, or other material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate switcher/yard trucks with fifth-wheel connections to move, stage, and position trailers.
• Safely hook up and disconnect trailers, including inspection of fifth-wheel, air lines, and electrical connections.
• Position trailers at docks, staging areas, warehouse, and production locations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Support shipping, receiving, warehouse, and production operations.
• Maintain an organized and safe yard environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in Lean/5S initiatives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, manufacturing, or related operations.
• Experience operating yard trucks, switchers, hostlers, forklifts, or similar equipment preferred.
• Experience with fifth-wheel trailer connections strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills; SAP/WMS experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or flexible schedules as needed.

Preferred: PIV/forklift certification, SAP/WMS experience, and manufacturing or distribution experience.
