Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The Production Associate works in an indoor manufacturing environment, supporting hose and pipe production through hands-on tasks such as coiling, wrapping, labeling, stacking, and material movement. This role offers on-the-job training, including machine operation for assembly, and provides a clear path to grow into an extrusion operator in the near future.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to coil hose, wrap products, label items, and stack finished goods on pallets.
• Operate production and assembly machines after receiving on-the-job training.
• Move finished products and materials using a sit-down forklift to designated staging areas.
• Palletize products and perform manual material handling in a production environment.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures to support consistent, high-quality hose and pipe production.
• Use basic hand tools, power tools, and air tools safely and effectively during assembly and production tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and storage of tools and materials.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of forklifts and machinery.
• Demonstrate reliability and readiness to learn new tasks with the goal of progressing into an extrusion operator role.

This is a Permanent position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.40/hr.
