Material Handler Replenishment

The Material Handler Replenishment plays a key role in ensuring production lines and workstations are consistently supplied with the materials, tooling, and components they need to operate efficiently. This position focuses on transporting, replenishing, and organizing goods, supporting assembly and test operations, and contributing to continuous improvement activities within a modern manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies and materials to designated workstations and production areas in a timely and accurate manner.
• Transport, replace, and replenish goods and components to ensure uninterrupted workflow on assembly lines and test stands.
• Retrieve tooling and support set-up activities for assembly lines and test stands as needed.
• Handle the disposal of used materials and supplies in accordance with facility procedures and safety guidelines.
• Participate in 7S improvement initiatives, including waste elimination, organization, and flow improvement activities.
• Update and route KB cards to maintain accurate tracking and documentation of material movement and inventory.
• Use basic computer systems to record, track, and verify material transactions and inventory status.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, to move and stage materials safely and efficiently.
• Support inventory and stock activities within the warehouse and production areas.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and respond to changing production needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision to support production, logistics, and continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Skills

• Previous warehouse experience, including handling, moving, and replenishing stock and materials.
• Basic computer experience to update records, route cards, and perform simple data entry tasks.
• Comfortable working overtime as needed to support production demands and deadlines.
• Ability to remain on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and staging materials.
• Forklift experience and ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking and material movement is preferred.
• Additional computer experience beyond basic usage is a plus.
• Familiarity with 7S or similar workplace organization and continuous improvement practices is beneficial.
• Experience in manufacturing or production support environments is advantageous.

Work Environment

This role is based in a well-lit, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment that supports assembly and test operations. Certain areas may contain oils used in the assembly process, and some spaces can be densely packed with materials due to production needs. The position is on a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the expectation of working overtime when required. Work is performed on-site at one of two facilities located in Lincolnshire, with the possibility of assignment to either location. The role involves standing for extended periods, walking between workstations and storage areas, and operating forklifts and other material handling equipment within a structured production setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
