Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

This role supports warehouse operations by handling inbound and outbound shipments, performing inventory activities, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, work extensively with spreadsheets for cycle counting, and follow standard work instructions to maintain accuracy, safety, and efficiency throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Download and manipulate Excel spreadsheets from SAP to support inventory and cycle counting activities.
• Participate in continuous inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory as needed.
• Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy.
• Unload trucks for inbound shipments and ensure materials are received in satisfactory condition.
• Load trucks for outbound shipments, stacking materials properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Pick and pack contents for domestic and international orders, ensuring order contents are accurate and complete.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions promptly to the department supervisor.
• Follow standard work instructions and established procedures to maintain consistent quality and safety.
• Handle materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support on-time shipment and inventory accuracy by meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks effectively.

This is a Contract position based out of Lincolnshire, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
