Your responsibilities will include: Provide nursing care within the scope of your RN license and established standards of practice. Assess residents’ conditions and identify changes in health status. Monitor residents and promptly document and report changes in condition, including nutritional concerns, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, and other clinical changes. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, charting, and incident reports. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies. Follow established procedures for medication management, narcotic counts, and pharmacy orders. Support restraint-reduction efforts and follow applicable facility procedures. Utilize the Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor residents in appropriate programs. Communicate resident room changes, leaves of absence (LOA), admissions, and discharges to the appropriate departments. Participate in physician rounds as needed. Collaborate with LPNs, CNAs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated resident care. Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Follow all applicable facility policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Compassionate approach to resident care. Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and the healthcare team. Commitment to providing safe, high-quality nursing care.
