Salesforce Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Salesforce Developer for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure and scalable Experience Cloud sites while integrating with enterprise systems and ensuring high performance.

Rate Range: $64/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Salesforce Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community) sites using LWC, LWR, Apex, and Flows.
• Integrate Salesforce with external and internal systems such as MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and third-party platforms.
• Implement security models including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules to ensure data protection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues including governor limits, event triggers, and data integrity challenges.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and CI/CD-based deployments.
• Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality, coverage, and compliance with Salesforce development standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with strong Experience Cloud expertise.
• Advanced skills in Salesforce development including LWC, Apex, integrations (MuleSoft, APIs), and Experience Cloud implementations.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and ability to deliver scalable, customer-facing digital solutions in a banking or fintech environment.

Pay Details: $64.00 to $68.00 per hour
