Maintenance Technician - 3rd shift

3rd shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am Monday - Friday; some mandatory overtime on weekends Performs typical routine and preventative maintenance tasks of equipment and facilities. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and facilities. Develop and maintain facility and equipment documentation. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor. Strong attendance commitment. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, test and make adjustments. Perform such skills such as electrical repairs, PLC and HMI Programming, and machine installation. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications and requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to do so. High School Diploma or GED; 2 years trade school and /or 4+ years related experience. Demonstrate ability with hand tools, multimeter, computer skills, and troubleshooting ability. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. This is an open warehouse environment with exposure to various weather and temperature conditions. Exposure to environmental conditions such as heat, humidity, cold, noise, odors, dust, confined spaces, moving parts. Ability to work varying shifts as production demands and workload necessitate.
