Corporate Accounting Manager

Our growing Manufacturing client in Southwest Houston is seeking a technology-minded accounting leader to oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, and accounting operations for a global organization. This role is responsible for all facets of the accounting department, including managing the month-end close, leading audits and tax compliance, strengthening internal controls, supporting treasury activities, IFRS financial reporting, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee corporate accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, and month-end close while mentoring accounting staff Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under IFRS, including consolidated financial statements and reporting packages Manage external audits and coordinate with tax advisors and regulatory agencies Strengthen internal controls, standardize accounting processes, and improve reporting efficiency across global operations Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, and lender reporting requirements Partner with executive leadership on acquisitions, financial due diligence, and special projects Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and system capabilities through technology and automation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience Public Accounting experience required Strong technical accounting knowledge with direct IFRS experience and familiarity with U.S. GAA Experience preparing consolidated financial statements for a multinational organization Background managing audits, tax compliance, and internal control Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One, Macola, or similar) and advanced Excel skills Exposure to Power BI, AI, automation tools, or other financial technologies is highly desirable Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
