Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Weekend 24-hour call; Weekday night call shared with other provider(s)
• Job Setting: Hospital
• Types of Cases: Hematology/Oncology; 17 patient encounters per shift (1 hour for new patients, 20-minute follow-ups); call consists of questions from RN regarding patients calling in with questions, patients receiving chemotherapy, and minimal ED consults; weekly tumor boards; clinical trials available (Phase 2 and 3)
• Support Staff: 1 Medical Assistant, several RNs, dedicated Pharmacists who perform educational starts for chemotherapy
• EMR: Mosaic
• Dates Available:
  • 2026: August 31; September 8, 21, 28; October 5, 19, 26; November 2, 16, 23 (closed Nov 24-25), 30; December 21 (closed Dec 25), 28 (closed Jan 1)
  • 2027: Many dates available each month; seeking full coverage 5 days/week with possible weekend call
• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
• Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days.

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Yes - Board Certified or Board Eligible required; Fellowship required
• Certifications: BLS required
• Licensure: New Mexico state licensure required
