Principal Systems Engineer - Infrastructure

Salary: $107,500 - 204,500 per year Requirements:

• We require experience across multiple stages of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, design, integration, verification, validation, and technical documentation.
• We require hands-on experience with MBSE, including system modeling, requirements traceability, or architecture development.
• We require experience leading engineering efforts while balancing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• We require experience using the Atlassian suite, especially Jira, Jama, and Confluence.
• We typically require a STEM degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
• We require the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. government security clearance.
• We require U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• We will have you work closely with a motivated team and internal and external stakeholders on MBSE development activities for the Survivable Airborne Operations Center program.
• We will have you participate in the systems development lifecycle, including trade studies, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, traceability, integration, verification testing, and qualification.
• We will have you support Agile planning and execution, keeping work aligned with cost and schedule goals while helping manage risks and issues.
• We will have you take part in and help facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, user story refinement, and end-of-sprint demos.
• We will have you support cost account management by tracking performance, reporting status, monitoring metrics, and communicating risks and issues.
• We will have you work onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
