By ensuring benefits, leave, workers' compensation, and unemployment processes are handled accurately and on time, this role protects the employee experience and supports Credit Human's compliance and service commitments.What You'll DoDeliver timely, accurate benefits support that helps employees and managers understand requirements, options, and next steps.Coordinate leave of absence, workers' compensation, and unemployment processes to support compliant, well-documented outcomes.Maintain complete and accurate employee records, case documentation, and required information in alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations.Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Total Rewards, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve routine issues and keep benefits services moving smoothly.Escalate complex, sensitive, or non-standard cases appropriately to ensure employees receive the right level of guidance and support.Support onboarding, offboarding, audits, reconciliations, and quality reviews to strengthen benefits administration and employee service delivery.Identify opportunities to improve benefits processes, service quality, and employee experience through thoughtful feedback and change support.Why You'll Love This RoleMake a meaningful day-to-day impact by helping employees through benefits questions, leaves, claims, and transitions.Build broad experience across benefits administration, compliance, vendor coordination, HR operations, and employee service.Join a collaborative HR environment where accuracy, empathy, confidentiality, and continuous improvement matter.Grow your benefits knowledge through hands-on case support, cross-functional partnerships, and ongoing learning opportunities.Contribute to smoother, more reliable processes that improve the employee and manager experience across Credit Human.Experience:Required: 2 years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, or a related operational roleExperience working in a customer-facing or service-oriented environmentExperience managing multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detailSkills & Knowledge:Required: Intermediate understanding of employee benefits programs (e.g., FMLA, health & welfare benefits)Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to explain processes clearly to employees and managersSolid organizational and time-management skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in handling documentationAbility to follow defined processes and escalate issues appropriatelyAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills at an operational levelProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred:Familiarity with employment law and compliance conceptsEducation:Required: High school diploma or equivalentPreferred:Bachelor's degreeLicenses & Certifications:Required: HIPAA Certification within the first 90 days of employmentPreferred:Human Resources career-related certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pmCompensation Details:Paygrade: 2AAThe expected pay range for this position is $27.69 – $28.11 hourly.Credit Human is committed to equitable and transparent compensation practices.
