Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2413.24/week –

Job Summary:
Provides specialized emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, 34-bed emergency department serving patients of all ages and diagnoses. Responsible for assessing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and performing procedures.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, diagnoses, and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with credentialing and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current CA RN licensure required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Valid BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS certifications.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Ability to work night shifts, 3×12 hours, with every other weekend rotation.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
