NOW HIRING: Medical Assistant

Location: Brooklyn Center, MN

Pay: $22.23–$27.37/hour, based on experience

Outpatient clinic position providing clinical and administrative support to providers and patients across all age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Patient rooming and clinical preparation
• Assist providers with patient care
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed
• Collect laboratory specimens
• Perform phlebotomy and clinic laboratory testing, as applicable
• Telephone and patient-provider communication support
• Prescription refill assistance
• Front desk/check-in support
• Prior authorization assistance
• Supply ordering and stocking
• X-ray duties if qualified
  

Medical Assistant Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) OR qualifying RMA program with required experience and certification
• Current BLS certification
