Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments encompassing physical exams and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to devise and enact patient-specific surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative support by preparing the operating room, managing patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Provide exceptional pre- and post-operative care, inclusive of medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical care is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
