Ticket Agent- HOB Cleveland

Job Summary A box office ticket agent will be responsible for providing accurate information and exceptional guest services related to upcoming shows, special events, concerts, restaurant functions, ticket sales, including upselling ancillary products in relation to those events. Responsibilities Cash handling; bank procedures and check-out procedures Maintain superior customer service both in person and over the phones Answer the phone with a prompt and courteous attitude Guest relations, including sales of additional products and services Will call window troubleshooting ticketing issues Run ticketing program on the computer for sales Process opening and closing paperwork Knowledge of booked talent and entertainment for the venue Maintain a positive attitude Keep a clean, well-groomed appearance Qualifications Required Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization that does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa Entry-level knowledge of basic computer operations and point of sales systems (e.g., Google, Micros) Skills in guest relations, phone etiquette, cash handling (1 year experience), filing, and multitasking with attention to detail Ability to effectively communicate verbally with both customers and coworkers Ability to type 30 words per minute High school diploma or equivalent Attention to detail Positive attitude Teamwork; work well with others in a high-volume and sometimes stressful environment Keep a clean, well-groomed appearance Punctual attendance with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Preferred Previous ticketing experience (e.g., Ticketmaster) Working knowledge of Windows-based PC programs Physical Demands / Working Environment Fast-paced environment Repetitive use of arms for answering phones and typing Ability to stand for extended periods Willingness to commute to the downtown area (discounted parking available) Relocation to the Cleveland area requires providing anticipated moving date Equal Employment Opportunity Live Nation strongly supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of age, ancestry, color, religious creed, family and medical care leave, mental or physical disability, marital status, domestic partner status, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, political affiliation, national origin, citizenship, race, sex (including pregnancy and related conditions), gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, or any other basis protected by applicable law.
