Vice President of Sales – EPC / IndustrialHouston / Gulf Coast | Remote with Regional TravelExcellent opportunity for an accomplished business development and sales leader with deep experience selling engineering, EPC and technical services within the refining, petrochemical, specialty chemical and midstream markets.Our client is an established engineering services organization seeking a senior sales executive to expand its presence across the Gulf Coast. This is a highly visible growth role for someone who already understands this market, has meaningful relationships with operators and decision-makers, and has a demonstrated track record of opening doors and winning significant project work.The ideal candidate will be a hands-on business developer who enjoys being directly involved in pursuing opportunities rather than solely managing a sales organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a Gulf Coast business development strategy focused on refining, petrochemical, specialty chemical and midstream clientsIdentify, pursue and win new engineering and EPC project opportunitiesLeverage and expand an established network of industry relationships and key decision-makersBuild relationships with new prospects while strengthening existing strategic accountsIdentify market opportunities, customer needs and competitive trendsManage complex, long-cycle technical sales opportunities from initial relationship development through proposal and awardCollaborate closely with engineering and technical teams to develop solutions aligned with client requirementsParticipate in the development of proposals, bids and RFP responsesDevelop sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and performance metricsNegotiate commercial opportunities and support contract discussionsRepresent the organization at client meetings, industry events and conferencesProvide market and customer intelligence to executive leadershipHelp establish scalable sales processes and best practices to support continued growthQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, business or a related discipline preferred10+ years of successful sales and/or business development experience within engineering, EPC, construction or related technical servicesSignificant experience serving the refining, petrochemical, specialty chemical and/or midstream industriesEstablished relationships with operators and decision-makers throughout the Houston and Gulf Coast marketsDemonstrated success originating and winning substantial engineering or EPC project workExperience navigating complex technical sales cycles, proposals, bids and contract negotiationsStrong understanding of engineering and project execution environmentsAbility to communicate technical and commercial value effectively to senior-level customersStrong relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skillsSelf-directed, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to collaborate across technical and executive teamsAbility to travel throughout the Gulf Coast as neededThe OpportunityThis position offers significant visibility and the opportunity to play an important role in the continued expansion of an established organization.
