What You'll Do:

• Provide inpatient management for complex pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including those undergoing CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgeries
• Conduct daily assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning for adult patients in a high-acuity setting
• Manage arrhythmias, pacemakers, electrolyte abnormalities, infection surveillance, and wound care
• Support patient discharge planning and coordinate multidisciplinary care efforts
• Monitor clinical status for signs of deterioration and act promptly
• Perform procedures such as chest tube management, removal of surgical drains, and wound care
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons and hospitalist teams, working with minimal supervision

What You Need:

• Missouri State License and Board Certification as a PA or NP
• BLS and ACLS Certifications
• Minimum of 2 years experience managing cardiac surgery patients
• Experience with CABG, valve surgeries, aortic procedures, and high-acuity management
• Proficiency in interpreting clinical data, managing arrhythmias, and coordination of complex care

• Trauma Level I experience
• Experience with EPIC and Sectra EMR systems
• Strong communication and professionalism skills
