Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find dependable Compression Shop Associates in Griffin, GA. In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for operating compression presses and production equipment used to manufacture high-voltage electrical power connectors and substation components for utility companies across the United States. In a Compression Shop Associate job, you'll be responsible for:

• Operating compression molding presses and related production equipment
• Loading raw materials into compression molds and removing finished components
• Monitoring machine operation to ensure products meet quality and production standards
• Inspecting molded parts for defects, dimensions, and overall quality
• Trimming, finishing, and preparing molded products for the next stage of production
• Performing basic machine adjustments and reporting equipment issues to supervisors
• Reading and following work orders, production schedules, and manufacturing specifications
• Maintaining accurate production records and documentation
• Keeping the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards
• Working with production team members to meet daily production goals

What you'll need:

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or compression molding experience is preferred but not requiredwe're willing to train motivated candidates
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn production equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
• Ability to read work instructions and production specifications
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds as needed
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday | 4:00 PM 2:30 AM

Pay:

• 1st Shift: $14.00/hour
• 2nd Shift: $14.50/hour
