Step into a rewarding contract assignment supporting K-8 students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a vibrant educational community near Stamford, CT. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to provide essential services, helping students access their curriculum and reach their full potential.

Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut Occupational Therapy license (CT OT License) required
• Previous experience providing OT in a school setting strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of pediatric therapies and IEP process for school environments
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 K-8 students
• Assess student needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
• Conduct skill-based evaluations, progress monitoring, and detailed documentation
• Provide consultation to school staff regarding accommodations and in-classroom strategies
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations and reporting

Assignment Details:

• Contract term: August 28, 2026 – June 11, 2027
• 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
