Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float

Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Intensive Care Unit Float Pool. Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – High Acuity Float Pool Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours per week, Nights Supportive leadership team with Nursing Assistants to assist; Intensivists and NPs work alongside RNs during shifts; Respiratory Therapy available at night; extra incentives for picking up additional shifts. Responsibilities: Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Perform patient care, delegate patient care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff. Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health‑care team as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrate proficiency and adhere to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross). Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross). Registered Nurse license in KS (NURSYS) or MO (NURSYS). Associate Degree in Nursing. Equal Opportunity Employer.
