Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Lead Nurse - Juvenile Residential Facility (RN) at the Les Peters Youth Academy in Tampa, Florida, that is relocating to St. Petersburg, FL.

Les Peters Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program.

Pay: $82,000 annual exempt

What you will do: As a Health Service Administrator (RN), you will be responsible for the health care of the students in our care, as well as maintaining all student medical files. You will also provide education for staff and students on health issues, first aid, infection control, and emergency procedures.

To be considered, you should: A Bachelor's degree in a related health care field is preferred, but not required, possess a clear & valid Florida Registered Nurse licensure, and have two years of previous Medical Services Administration.

This is a salaried position requiring at least 40 hours per week. The set work schedule, which serves the youth best, will be set by your supervisor, the Program Director.
