Legal AR and Collections Specialist

Legal AR and Collections Specialist $60,000 - $85,000 per year | Dallas, TX | On-Site | Permanent Hybrid opportunity with competitive salary. Key Responsibilities Receive, apply, and record client payments with accuracy and timeliness Maintain legal AR records, review aging reports, and follow established collection protocols Research and resolve billing discrepancies and account variances in coordination with attorneys and internal teams Communicate professionally with clients regarding account balances and billing inquiries (phone, email, and written correspondence) Partner internally to improve billing, collections, and documentation processes Maintain organized, accurate documentation and correspondence files Balance multiple priorities while consistently meeting tight deadlines Qualifications & Experience Prior experience in Legal Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collections Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and legal billing/timekeeping systems Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high‑touch, client‑service mindset Highly organized, detail‑driven, and capable of working independently Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion Degree preferred but not required Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
