Reliability Engineer (Stratford, CT)

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer for a global Aerospace company. In this role, you will be Develop and execute reliability engineering analyses and testing-including R&M predictions, FMEA/FMECA, FTA, HALT/HASS/ESS, and FRACAS-to identify failure risks and improve product reliability, while supporting reliability databases, dashboards, and reporting tools.

This is a 15-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is an onsite role in Stratford CT.

This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K offered.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (doe) constructs.
• Performs analysis and reports related to reliability and maintainability predictions (R&M predictions and allocations), failure modes effects (criticality) analysis (FMEA/FMECA), fault tree analysis (FTA), reliability testing (HALT/HASS/ESS/RDT) and failure reporting analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS) activities.
• Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.
• Compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics; investigates and analyzes relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes.
• Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Analyzes preliminary plans and develops reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives.
• May develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks. As necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability. May determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing, and specifies minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data.

Requirement:

• Must be a US Citizen and should be eligible to obtain clearance if hired on FTE.
• 9+ years of experience working as reliability Engineer
• You would be asked to support product reliability database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Report / dashboard development and maintenance (Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI, etc.)
• Application development (requirements, interface design, database architecture, reports, etc.) and/or evaluation and implementation of industry-standard third-party applications such as Windchill Risk & Reliability, Reliasoft, Relyence, etc.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Compensation: $70/hr. - $80/hr.
