Hourly Pay Rate: $24.31

Location: 23628 Roberts Rd, New Caney, TX


Civil Service: Yes


Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday (7:00am - 4:00pm), Friday (7:00am - 1:30pm; 30 minute lunch)

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
• Commercial driver's license (Class A or Class B)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Clean driving record
• Equipment operation experience preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Must be able to work outside for extended periods
• Use of grade laser is preferred
• Pavement repair experience is preferred


Primary Job Duties

Operate equipment in pursuance of duties:
• Mowing
• Pavement repair
• Tree Removal
• Guardrail Repair
• Ditch excavation
• Pipe laying
• Heavy truck driving
• Flag traffic safely through work zones
• Any and all other duties assigned


After receiving a conditional offer of employment, applicant must pass a drug screen (1/2 cost = $20.00, responsibility of applicant) and may need a physical agility test (1/2 cost = $22.50, responsibility of applicant) before becoming an employee of Montgomery County.
