Physical Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising physical therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques
• Collaborate with the physical therapy team to ensure effective patient care

Requirements

• Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care principles
• Experience or interest in trigger point therapy, orthopedics, occupational health, and inpatient care
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
